Q.  Your veils and accessories are very reasonable, why are shop prices so expensive?
A.  Shops usually buy from wholesalers and will then need to put their mark-up on whatever they sell.  Shops, have a lot of overheads such as employing staff, buying stock, rent etc. 
As I manufacture of all of my own products I can effectively offer my items to you at the 'wholesale price'.  As I am a small business I don't have excessive overheads such as staff to pay or VAT  to add.  These savings I can then pass on to you the bride.

Q. What is the difference between your veils and ones bought in the bridal shops I can't see any difference?
A. Absolutely nothing.  I purchase my tulle from the same manufacturers as the bridal veil wholesalers, my production methods are pretty much identical and I use similar accents including Swarovski Crystals.


Q.  How long will it take to get my veil or accessory?
A.  Standard production time is 10 -14 working days during busy periods, although some of my un-accented veils are usually in stock and can be dispatched within 5 - 7 working days. Custom veils please allow up to 28 days for production.  If you need your item in a rush I will always do my best to prioritise your order.

Q.  How will my item arrive?
A.  All items are carefully packed in tissue paper and either packed in a bubble envenlope, a mail bag and sent using Royal Mail Recorded Delivery (UK) and international signed for when purchase is for International despatch


Q.  How do I get any creases out of my veil?
A.  Your Deity Bridal Veil will be supplied to you with the 'factory finish'  on the tulle - this is a crisp finish applied to the fabric to allow the handling during production and also enables you to examine the veil.  By allowing your veil to hang in the bathroom whilst showering/bathing,  it will soften the tulle and allow most creases to drop out gently and naturally, however  I would always recommend steaming by a professional - if you bought your veil from a bridal shop you would expect this to be done for you on collection.

Q.  How do I fix the veil to my head?
A.  All my veils have dainty 3 inch (7.5cm) combs securely stitched onto them. (I do keep slightly larger combs in stock should require a wider one.)

The photo below shows my traditional production on the comb finish, all my veils will be supplied as below or should you prefer I do a more contemporary comb finish.

This photo shows a more contemporary comb finish giving a fuller look to the finished veil at the gathers, drop me a line if you would prefer this method - there is no extra charge, but I will need to know if you require this finish.



Q.  If the product is unsuitable can I get a refund
A.  Yes absolutely - under the Distance Selling Regulations you have 14 days from receipt of purchase to examine the item and decide if it is suitable.  - Please see my Terms and Conditions for full refund or exchange details. - Custom made items and Special Delivery items are exempt from this.

Q.  Do you make to order?
A.  Yes, I can do custom lengths & widths using the trims & accents listed on my website.  Please see my 'Custom veils' page for details

Q.  Do you have a shop I can visit?
A.  In order to keep my prices competitive I'm purely internet based, so sadly I can't offer a viewing service.

Q. Do you have a phone number I can call you on to discuss my veil?
A. Sadly due to the sheer volume of orders and enquiries I can't offer a phone number - though I can usually respond to emails within 48 hours.

Q. Can I buy a few veils to try and send back the ones I don't need and get a refund?
A. Yes, it is important  to see what works best with your outfit.  ~
But please note there is a 20% order value re-stocking fee and postage costs are non refundable on multiple purchases of this nature.
